Rahul C. Prakash

Rahul Prakash is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Everest Telecom Management which acts as the General Partner for Everest Wireless Partners–a Fund which invests in Telecom projects all over the world. Mr Prakash sits on boards of all portfolio companies. Mr. Prakash was also chairman and CEO of Global Services Partners Acquisition Corporation, (“GSPAC”) from it’s inception in 2006 through its merger in 2008. Mr. Prakash was the president of Telcom Ventures, a private equity firm, from 1997 to September 2002. During his tenure, Telcom was an early investor in: XM Satellite Radio Holdings, Inc., a Nasdaq listed company; Aether Holdings, Inc., a Nasdaq listed company; Teligent, Inc., which was formerly a Nasdaq listed company; Mobile Satellite Ventures; Ubiquitel PCS, an affiliate of Sprint Corp., a New York Stock Exchange listed company; and BPL Mobile, a cellular operator in India, among others. During his tenure at Telcom, Mr. Prakash served on the boards of two publicly-traded portfolio companies, Aether (from 1996 to June 2001), and Teligent (from May 2001 to September 2002). From 1991 to 1997, Mr. Prakash was employed with LCC International, Inc., a Nasdaq listed telecommunications company, as Vice President and Special Advisor to the Chairman. While at LCC, Mr. Prakash also served as Head of Business Development for Telemate, a joint venture of France Telecom and LCC International based in Paris (from 1993 to 1994).. Mr. Prakash was a founding board member of the Indian CEO Council of the U.S., an organization of senior executive entrepreneurs, serving from 1996 until March 2005. Mr. Prakash received a B.A. with honors and an M.B.A. from Delhi University and an M.B.A. from American University. Mr Prakash is a US citizen and resides with his family in Virginia.

Rajesh K. Rajpal, M.D. is the Founder of See Clearly Vision Group. Dr. Rajpal has been recognized as a top LASIK Surgeon in D.C. by Washingtonian magazine and is acknowledged as the first eye surgeon in Washington, D.C. to perform Laser Vision Correction. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond followed by a Fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Rajpal has served as Director of the Cornea and External Disease Service in the Department of Ophthalmology at Georgetown University as well as Director of the Refractive Laser Eye Center at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He currently holds appointments on the clinical faculties of Georgetown University Medical Center and George Washington University Medical Center.

Dr. Rajpal provides examination, consultation and treatment for eye diseases as well as Laser Eye Surgery such as LASIK for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. In addition, Dr. Rajpal provides Cataract Surgery and Intraocular Lens Implantation (IOL) with advanced technology lens implants (IOL) for the correction of astigmatism and near vision after Cataract Surgery. As a Corneal Specialist he has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disease, cornea trauma and surgical complications including the Corneal Transplantation techniques of Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK), Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK), and Decemet's Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK). Further, he has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular surface problems such as dry eye and dry eye syndrome and takes personal pride in providing patients with help for dry eyes.
His contributions in the field of Ophthalmology span not only clinical care but also teaching, publishing and clinical research. Dr. Rajpal has been the author of numerous publications and abstracts as well as been a frequently invited lecturer on Corneal Surgery, Cataract Surgery and Lens Implants, LASIK and Laser Eye Surgery. He has served as Principal Investigator for six research protocols on the use of the Excimer laser for refractive and therapeutic applications as well as ocular therapeutics and pharmacology in the areas of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications.

Dr. Rajpal is certified by and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the Northern Virginia Academy of Ophthalmology. Additionally, he has served as President and on the Board of Directors of the Washington D.C. Ophthalmology Society and on the Board of Directors for Old Dominion Eye Bank.

A. Jay Khanna, MD, MBA is a spine surgeon and Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University. He is also the Director of the Johns Hopkins Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery practice in the Greater Washington Region and sees patients in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Khanna’s clinical interests include the treatment of a wide range of spine pathologies using techniques ranging from minimally invasive spine surgery to complex spine reconstructions. Dr. Khanna is actively involved in research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on topics relating to spine surgery and has edited a popular textbook entitled MRI for Orthopaedic Surgeons. One of his greatest interests is education and he is the director of the annual American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Board Review Course and also directs several courses for the North American Spine Society and other organizations.

Dr. Khanna obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University and the Georgetown University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he pursued his orthopedic surgery residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and then went on to the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute where he completed a fellowship in spine surgery in the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery.
Stan Grice

With over twenty-five years in health care services, Mr Grice is a subject matter expert in oncology service line development, diagnostic imaging, and health information technology applications. Currently he serves as President and CEO of Washington, DC based SeeMD, a mHealth technology platform focusing on care coordination/adherence and Appian360, a heath IT clinical pathways company. He is a principal in Integrated Medical Technologies, a healthcare IT company focusing on Radiological Information Systems and is an investor in Affiliated PET Systems, an advanced imaging provider. Mr Grice has consulted with equipment manufacturers and over 50 imaging centers to plan, implement, and grow their advanced imaging business. He has proven experience in business development, strategic planning, marketing, and mergers and acquisitions with multi-specialty physicians, health systems, pharmaceutical companies, and manufacturers. In 1997 he established corporate development initiatives for Oncology Affiliates, Inc., a start-up oncology company funded with $16 million in initial capital. In 1999, Physician Health Corporation, with annual revenues reaching $125 million, engaged Mr Grice to serve as its Senior Vice President for Corporate Development. In that capacity, he led its medical and radiation oncology development initiatives, which included mergers and acquisitions, provider network development, new product development, growth strategies, clinical trials, and international partnerships. Following graduate school at Tulane University School of Public Health, he worked for National Medical Enterprises. Mr Grice serves on the advisory board of several technology companies, is a member of the Health Information Management Systems Society, Association of Community Cancer Centers, Society of Nuclear Medicine, and is actively involved as community fund raiser to aid patients care initiatives.

Dr. Narang is currently the president and CEO of Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Clinical Radiologists Medical Imaging, a radiology practice in Silver spring, MD. He is a graduate of Des Moines University and completed radiology residency training at Howard University Medical Center, with further training at George Washington University Medial Center in Neuroradiology. He has served on the faculty of both GW Medical Center and Georgetown Univ Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and a fellow of the American College of Radiology. He has served in various leadership positions with the American College of Radiology including a tenure as President of the Wash DC chapter. He has authored articles in the field of radiology and spoken at numerous scientific meetings
